Again, a phone interview with someone doing several things at once.

Talking (to two people).
And cody yelling in the background.. sounded like directions..

(Phone rings)
Jase: hellloo good man.
TD: Whats good?
Jase: Drivin in the middle of nowhere.
TD: Why?
Jase: Cody has to work in bum-fuck-Egypt for two weeks and he needed some herbal relaxation so i made the mission out here and now were drivin to a skatepark to ride
TD: Thats the plan. Lets get started.
Jase: I'm down.

Jase: Jase Knack.
TD: Age
Jase: 21.

TD: What is your current involvement with revolt.
Jase: Team manager and team rider.
TD: And why the hell are you doing this?

Jase: Cause i love the BMX industry and I wanna give back to it.
TD: What are you trying to accomplish with revolt?
Jase: Just wanna fuckin bring it back to roots basically. Biking's getting too far away from what it used to be. Its a fashion show at the park these days Instead of just getting out and having fun with the homies. I wanna show kids thats where the roots are. We all started riding bikes cause it was fun. Lets keep riding bikes cause its fun.
TD: Good deal. What do you do for work?
Jase: Im a welder at S&M bike company.
TD: Last time on a trampoline?
Jase: Probably about 4 years ago.
TD: Chili or potato wit sour cream?
Jase: Potato with sour cream.
TD: Death by freezing or burning?
Jase: Oooh, tough one... I think.. burning?
TD: Whats in your cd player right now?
Jase: My homie Petty doing some freestyle's.
TD: Favorite place you traveled to?
Jase: That would have to be the bay area!

Jase: Anywhere but here.

Jase: Tribal tat.

Jase: Peroxide.

Jase: Barspins or euro tables.

Jase: Soda!

Jase: Lost count when i was 18

Jase: I would have to saaaay.... The treasure chest on my hand.
TD: Longest stretch driving?
Jase: From Montana to California.
TD: Not in so-cal traffic?
Jase: No from montana to cali.. Then i got here and it got worse
TD: favorite movie?
Jase: Boondock saints.
TD: Oh shit.. Whats with coffee?
Jase: I love coffee. Its what gets me going in the morning and I'm actually drinking it more and more lately. I had two cups before i drove here today.
TD: Are you a pirate?
Jase: Sure.
TD: something you want to do before you die?
Jase: Steal a car, go on a high speed chase with the cops, going backwards on the freeway smoking a fat blunt.. When I'm 80 years old.
TD: Sounds like a good goal. You got any thanks?

New Spots

There are those days when you ride the same old stuff. Then there can be weeks that go buy like that. But then there are those great days that you stumble across some new spots that relight the fire and great riding comes out. This weekend was one of those weekends for us down south and from the looks of it and what I've heard its the same with our boys up north! Saturday night me, Samir and our boy Richard stumbled upon one of the best spots i have ever ridden! Not going to lie i was out looking for this spot. I got some shady bmxer directions which only got us in the general area. You can expect with a spot like this that no one is trying to blow it up and whoever it is is doing a damn good job at keepin quiet. So right about the time we were going to throw in the towel and call it quits, we spotted it! I am not going to get into details other than it is a bmx and skateboard paradise that has been completely untapped... We spent all the next day putting in mad work to make it ridable and then rode far into the sunset. Never saw another sole.. There will be photos but not as of yet, we need TDP to come help us with that end... So go grab your bike and find that secret spot of your own that will get your blood pumping again. nothing feels better. Also as TD's has been saying shirts sooon. Real soon!
